Interest FREE Loans
MainStreet offers its Members the ability to apply for INTEREST FREE LOANS which
can be used for the purchase of high value products such as real property, cars,
boats and recreational vehicles. These interest free lines of credit are provided
via an online application process and are issued in amounts between $1,000 and $100,000,
in increments of $1,000, without anymore than the identification required to open
a Bank Account.
These loans are mainly used to provide bridging funding or deposits for property
purchases. As an example, a business or company, such as a property developer, registers
to become a Member so that they can participate in the MainStreetMoney™ Trading
Program, by paying a small initial membership fee ($60.00 per annum). The Developer
then agrees to accept a percentage (nominated by the Developer) of the purchase
price of the property in MainStreet Trade Dollars. This percentage is usually 20%
as deposit. This allows the purchaser to then acquire a first mortgage of 80%, which
is normally within the guidelines of all Financial Institutions, to complete the
purchase of the property.
At the end of the transaction, the Developer has received his deposit in MainStreet
Trade Dollars, which he can then use towards the purchase of other property, boats,
or cars or general goods and services from MainStreetMerchantsTM. The purchaser,
on the other hand, has been able to secure his property though the use of MainStreet
Trade Dollars, as the deposit with a traditional first mortgage from a financial
institution for the balance. The Interest Free Loan used as a deposit, is not repayable
until such time as the property is subsequently sold. However, it is possible for
this purchaser to reduce his outstanding loan, by utilising Cash Rewards obtained
through the use of the services of other MainStreetMerchants™, MainStreetMalls™
or MainStreetMarkets™.
Each Member receives a MainStreetMoney™ Membership card and an individual account
number and the Member's MainStreetMoney™ Trade Dollar balance is updated each time
a purchase or sale is conducted through their Online Trading Account.
Our interest free credit facilities are offered to members who need to make purchases
with Trade Dollars to preserve their cash flow while still being able to obtain
the property, goods or services they desire.
